First events of 2012

Now that my family (Dad and sister) have gone back home to Australia, I'm in full work mode as the next couple of months are going to be busy. As I said before, my A level biology is taking up a lot of my time so pretty much I wake up, do biology, ride, come home, shower, do biology, sleep. Except for the days when I go training with James, which is a nice break to the routine. If I don't go to James I usually do manage to fit in a run either in the morning or afternoon, as I really struggle to sit in one place for too long! I don't think the day will ever come where I end up having an office job... if I do then I can guarantee I would quit after three days.

Seb is more or less back in to full work now, however has lost quite a bit of muscle from his couple of months off after his castration. He is still as great as ever though and the castration has had no negative effects on him, he is still exactly the same Seb which is perfect. Him and I have a busy week ahead, with a PSG competition on Saturday, Squad viewing on Sunday, and another competition next Thursday. Then of course the weekend after that is Addington High Profile, which we should be well and truly ready for!

I love having lots of things to look forward to - the lead up to a competition is always the most exciting time for me. The lead up to a few events is even better as you know as you move through them you will come out having learnt and improved a great amount. Take Julius's first few PSGs that he did all in quite close proximity, he went from 63% to 67% in three tests!

So despite the horrible weather at the moment (wind and rain and an outdoor school do not mix well!) I'm so ready to kick of 2012 with some good results.

Hope you did well today! And good luck tomorrow and Thursday! And more and more and more good luck with your A level studying. I just got back to university and have already cried all week over all my work.
