Feeling better and back riding, but now off to Germany!

On Sunday I was finally feeling well enough to ride. It was a beautiful afternoon to ride outside in.... Not. It was bucketing down! The boys and I got absolutely drenched, and Julius got especially upset and kept full-passing around the arena and doing whatever he could to get his back to the wind and rain bless him! But when it comes down to it, there's nothing to it but to do it! They were both really good boys anyway and I really enjoyed riding them again :)

This week they worked really well and its actually a shame that I'm heading off to Germany this morning. What am I saying... sure it would be nice to keep riding them up until Xmas but I'm going to Germany YAY!!!! My family has come over for Xmas so we are all heading off on a family trip to see the Xmas markets up around Hannover and so I can ride my young horse, Chad, who is based with Leonie Bramall.

No doubt I will be spending a solid five days riding there with Leonie cramming as much German training as I can into the week, so look forward to some cool posts about next week's training!

Sue is being wonderful and riding Julius and Seb for me while I'm away, and I know that when I come back they will be ready for me to start working with them again better than I left them! I'm thankful I can trust Sue and Gary 100% when I'm away and I never have to worry about the boys, Sue always keeps in touch over email so I'm updated all the time.

So I must get ready and start loading things into the car, ready for our long drive over to the continent!

It seems like it's raining all over the blogosphere! It's been pouring here for a week, the States sounds like getting a drenching, and you are too.

That sounds like a fabulous trip, have fun!
